We have a variety of different classes available so you can find the best combination for you and your goals. Not sure which is best to start with? We're here to help. Start with our &Beginners or &Intervals & class, and we will walk you through the rest.

Meet Your Coach

We will show you around, give you an overview of class and how to use the equipment. We will ask a little about your workout history and make sure to answer your questions before class starts.

(*Arrive about 15 minutes early the first time, so we have the time to spend with you! All you need to bring is yourself and a water bottle, we will take care of the rest.)

Enjoy class, at your pace

You'll spend 20-30 minutes on the treadmill in walking or walk/run intervals, then move to the floor for strength. You'll already be all set up from your overview with the coach before class, so just join in, listen for the coach to tell the class what is to come, and enjoy!

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR THE EMPLOYEE BENEFIT MEMBERSHIP
 

1. CREATE AN ACCOUNT IN THE &FITNESS SYSTEM

You can do this on a web browser using THIS LINK or download the &Fitness app for Apple or Android and create an account right in the app. You can sign up using a personal email account or your Window Nation account, we recommend your personal account that way you maintain access to your account even if your employment changes.

2. ADD A PERSONAL CREDIT CARD TO YOUR ACCOUNT.

We collect and store your credit card information in our secure system in case you incur other fees that are not covered by Window Nation. This includes any merchandise, bottled water, or late cancel/no show fees (see below for more information regarding late cancel fees). We will never charge your card for your membership, even if Window Nation decides to cancel your membership.

3. SEND AN EMAIL TO INFO@ANDFITSTUDIO.COM AND YOUR HR REPRESENTATIVE (JENNA SPAETH) AND REQUEST TO ACTIVATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

You will receive an email back from &Fitness within 48 hours regarding activation of your membership. You will be able to log into your account and sign up for class times. As a reminder, the easiest way to access the schedule and sign up for classes is via our app (search &Fitness in the app store or use this link for Apple or Android), but you may also use a web browser via this link if that's better for you. 

4. SIGN UP FOR CLASSES, AND BE AWARE OF OUR POLICIES

Your membership will renew on the 1st of each month, so you will be able to sign up for 8 classes/month under this membership. If you need to cancel a class reservation, be sure to do so more than 12 hours before the start of class so that you do not incur a late fee. Cancellations within 12 hours of the start of class will incur a $10 fee, and no shows will incur a $15 fee.

If you have an emergency like illness, childcare issues, or other emergency, please let us know ASAP (via email to info@andfitstudio.com or text to 301-321-7939) to let us know BEFORE class begins, and we will cancel the reservation for you to avoid a fee. We expect these incidents to be rare.

5. CONTINUE TO ATTEND CLASSES TO MAINTAIN YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

Window Nation requires you to attend at least 6 classes/month to maintain your benefit. A list of employees who do not meet their requirements is sent to Window Nation each month. If you do not meet your requirement two months in a row, you may lose your membership access. Please communicate to your HR representative if you have an illness or injury preventing you from meeting your class requirement, so they can inform us and help you decide what to do with your membership.

Q: Is my membership really free? How does this work?

A: Yes, your membership is included as an employee benefit through Window Nation. The membership grants you 8 classes per month to attend at &Fitness.

Q: What do I have to do to keep my membership?

A: For Window Nation to continue to pay for your membership, they ask you to attend at least 6 classes per month. &Fitness reports your attendance back to Window Nation at the end of each month. If you have 2 consecutive months of not attending 6 classes or more, they may cancel your access.

Q: What kinds of classes do you have, and what times?

A: We have a variety of different class formats (you can read about them here) and we offer classes every day of the week from early morning to evening. Take a look at our schedule here, or download our app (on Apple or Android) to see all of this information in one place.

Q: I'm a beginner and have not worked out in a long time. Are these classes appropriate for me?

A: Absolutely. We specialize in beginners and those returning to exercise after a break, so you'll be right at home with our other members and coaches. Our classes are based on effort level, so we will never tell you how fast to go or how much weight to lift, only how you should feel at any given part of class. Our classes can be done with power walking, running, or a combination of the two. 

We offer a beginner-specific workout on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings (called "&Beginners" on our schedule). You're welcome to start there, but really you can start with any class and feel right at home, so pick one that makes sense with your schedule and sounds exciting to you and we will help you from there.
